Last week we got together for our second annual Punkin’ Carving party.  If you don’t remember last year’s pumpkins, you can see them here.

The pumpkin choices in the field this year were a little bit slim, but we managed to find enough good ones. Thanks to the McFarland’s for the pumpkins. We let the kids paint their pumpkins. Corbin and Jayci really went to town.  I think Corbin’s has so many layers of paint that it weighs an extra couple pounds.

Once we got the kids to bed, we got down to business ourselves.

Cami didn’t carve this year. She was too busy making me some roasted pumpkin seeds. She just loves digging through the punkin’ guts to find the seeds.

Here are the entries from this year.  I’ll start with mine, of course.  It doesn’t quite top my Frankenbaby or dragon from last year, but I was short on time (got called to work for a bit), so I had to simplify a bit this year.

Brett found an interestingly shaped pumpkin and got creative with it.
