Look at my little Jayci go!

Jayci thinks she needs to do all of the things the neighbor kids do. She doesn’t remember that she is a couple years younger than most of them. She saw her good friend out trying to ride his bike without training wheels and told me she wanted to do it too! I thought she was probably too young but decided we would give it a try. We took her training wheels off and went out. I ran behind her a few times and was way too tired so we went and got daddy. He ran behind her a few times too and was tired! We are way too out of shape. We went camping and she didn’t get to ride it for a while. When we got home she wanted to go ride, I told her I was busy and couldn’t help her but she could go play around. I looked out at her and this is what I saw….

Smart little stinker! Taught herself! Look at her go!

Catching Up

I’ve been slacking again…I think all of my posts start that way. I really need to get in the habit of doing this more often. It gets to the point where I wonder if I should just start with now and not backtrack. But this is my journal so I guess I should just backtrack.

You know all of that great weather we had been having a couple weeks ago? Oh wait, no it wasn’t. But that won’t stop us from going boating! Wes was in town so he took us out on his boat. Thanks Wes it was lots of fun! The kids LOVED driving with Uncle Wes. They loved the ride too, and watching Daddy wakeboard. I didn’t do any wakeboarding, it was too darn cold! I am always afraid I won’t be able to get my kids to wear their life jackets but they did fine. Corbin actually cried when we had to take it off. He didn’t want to get off the boat. I didn’t get very many pictures because I left my memory card at home in my computer. Sad. I am retarded. Oh well, here are the few I got!

Another thing I never blogged about is Memorial Day. We went swimming at my Dad’s house in the morning and were off to Rob’s parents for a BBQ that evening. We had lots of fun! Rob’s mom bought a cute little castle bouncer thing. The kids absolutely loved it. They had fun! We also got to roast marshmallows and make smores! Fun times!

We did the Cystic Fibrosis walk for my friend Kara. Team Pearly*! We had lots of fun! Jayci saw these cute little puppies there and she would not leave them alone! She loves puppies, and even better when they are princesses! These pictures were just too cute not to share.

We also just got home from a wonderful 10-day vacation. We went to my dad’s cabin in Island Park. It is so pretty there. I wish we never had to come home. It was a blast…a post about that coming soon (hopefully)!
